The personal bankruptcy law has been a mess for years. The number of people who have abused it and just walked away from mounds of debt is staggering.

That said, I believe the credit card companies are complicit in it and should not be given the benefit of the doubt. They solicit people who have no money, for that matter, even jobs. When they do this, they DESERVE to take the hit IMO.

Something is needed, I'm just not sure this particular law is the solution.
