In the ME, it doesn't work that way. That is the tell......and I think Westerners have a hard time understanding that kind of mindset. Its all about who gave you your last buck and not.......liberty, freedom and the pursuit of happiness....IMO.

Well, if that's true, then I'll tell you what the future holds for the Middle East. Democracy will fail there. Fundamentalists will take over.

They may have to take over. This may sound strange coming from someone who is secular but the ME may need to go back to its religious roots to purge it of all the corruption and dishonesty that is in play now.

They will continue to try to gain WMD to attack the West. Eventually, they will succeed in a WMD attack against the West.

I know this may come as a shock to you but few Muslims think in terms of attacking the West.

The right is turning this into another cold war. Its unbelievable.......they are not happy unless we have an enemy.

The West will respond with nukes and wipe out some of those fundamentalist countries. Not a bright future. Hopefully, the Arabs in the Middle East realize what different paths lie ahead of them. You can't continually try to fight a larger opponent and hope to come out the victor.

The only western leader who would consider using nukes is Bush. And I don't think he is even that stupid. You really need to get your paranoia in check.

BTW ignore DR's posts.........they will only stir you up more.
