This is going to on Democracy Now! today --- Arab American Publisher Says Bush Told Him in May 2000 He Planned to "Take Out" Iraq No surprise there! All through Clinton's administration, the neocons had been broadcasting to most anyone who would listen what they wanted. In fact, on a couple of occasions, they wrote Clinton and demanded he take out Saddam. This has been planned for some time. Its part of the reason why I think they are so dangerous. The sovereignty of other nations is inconsequential to them. That means they don't have a lot of respect for institutions; to whit, the UN. And that covers both American as well as international institutions. In other words, nothing is sacred including our own democracy. ted
