Mindmeld, Yours and John's and other liberals insistence that we tackle only one issue at a time is myopic and would do nothing to solve the overall problem.

Some are coming from the mindset that the "overall problem" is something we can never solve with a "war on terrorism."

Of course, some think we never really won the Cold War, either. But hey, "this time it's different."
