Is the it big jumps? Is the it small increments?

That's why I specified junior-high evolution. The basic stuff. Did humans descend from apes or didn't they? How long has animal life been on the earth? When animal life appeared, did it include himilayan cats and snail darters and chesapeake water dogs? Did humans once have a use for their vestigial appendix?

Maybe I'm out of touch with what is taught in junior high science. I thought they just spent a class or two on evolution. I can't imagine they would get into the controversy about the size of the increments.

and THEN you have to add to the mix the people who think the it, whatever it is, is just WRONG

Even if you think it's wrong, you know what it is. To argue that God created humans and apes at the same time you have to recognize that evolution says otherwise.
