I have told we that the U.S. has never stopped going after Osama. It's just that he's hard to find.

If you believe that one, I have a freeway to sell you. Real cheap!

re: How is that putting words in your mouth? You have been ranting about how we should be going after Osama, not attacking Iraq or doing any of the other things we are doing. I have told we that the U.S. has never stopped going after Osama. It's just that he's hard to find.

The one time an army could have been effective in battling terrorism was in Afghanistan, when we had the al Qaeda leadership all in the same place at the same time. The mission should have been to get them as they were responsible for 9/11 as well as over 90% of the worldwide terrorist attacks. We certainly had the justification and the world support; 9/11 happened to everyone and could happen to anyone. We should have used EVERY resource (short of nuclear) to get him, taken whatever casualties were necessary, killed as many innocents as we had to. It was that important. And then been done with it and come home. Cruel and spiteful vengence against the guys that did it to us.

I do support the financial work against terrorist. I do support some of the black ops. (As I said before but you choose to ignore). I also support internationally co-operative police action, which doesn't appear to be happening because Bush is a slug at diplomacy and any kind of international co-operation.

But armies can't fight terrorists. Iraq is the perfect test case... we've created 10,000+ fully trained terrorist that hate the US. Totally counter productive.

re: The pentagon has published these statistics. I suggest you look them up before posting your opinion. Your are showing your ignorance.

I thought the pentagon number was 80%, which doesn't jibe with independent estimates. Prove I'm wrong.
