The way I look at the Hollywood events is like that of the housewife whose marriage is boring, and she watches soap operas and commiserates with the story projecting her life into the vagaries of the drama.

Instead of living her life.

Hollywood produces great diversionary dramas and Michael's is just another.. It's prime time drama too.

If one reads the book about 9/11 and how it could or might have been prevented the pre occupation of all of us with events like the current one on Michael were more important than the blowing up of buildings that was happening; The Cole debacle etc. There was no public out cry about repeated attacks by OBL...We were more occupied with the every day Hollywood who won this and who won that, who divorced whom. At one time it was about the break up of Tom and Michele...concurrent with the Cole.. Who knew OBL..??? Who cared.

Our ability to look past the stuff TV throws at us day takes effort . It's easier to immerse oneself into the DRAMA.
