The article was discussing the NASDAQ composite specifically. It was just a math equation. The NASDAQ composite down about .88% today, Intel is down 2.62%, Intel is a 5% of the composite, therefore, a big reason the NASDAQ is down. I agree that the news from Intel is good, but that doesn't change the facts of today's trading.
