Daniel, a software guy should be able to recognize "window" was an overloaded term.

It was my way of saying that most of the time someone will find a new tab far more functional than a new window. That goes to my opinion on the more egonomic use instead of tabs. tabs instead of windows most of the time.

the original question went to the issue "Offsite links on SI open up in the same window as the page they're on, which is sometimes inconvenient."

The answer given was how to open link in new window. I commented on using a new tab instead.
