I prefer to limit my position in any one stock to 4%, but will go as high as 8% if the market insists on giving me even more ridiculous bargains. My largest position by far is currently CLG at 7%, which is even in the black! I actually chickened out and cancelled my order to buy more @ US$1.29 ($1.28 was the low from last April) thinking that I would wait to see where it bounced... then it was too late... oh, well. Even so, I couldn't have been more pleased to get such a bargain on such a solid company. Over the past 4 years I have probably made more money on CLG than any other. I originally bought it on Claude Cormier's recommendation in 2001 for 75 or 80 cents Canadian.
