"The oil in ANWAR is only a trivial, band-aid solution that only puts off the problem by a few months." Possibly that's why several of the big oil firms pulled out of ANWAR --- they are the only ones to have seen the preliminary drilling results and they seem to think there is a low less recoverable there then has been bandied about in the headlines. On the other-hand, there is likely a LOT of oil offshore of Florida... look for Florida to be the next big push.
