Well, I found the Malinois breed--an elegant looking, short-haired German Shepherd-type of dog who is good at guarding. I cannot find the Boucheron, however. Do you have a url for its description?

We did not get our Golden on purpose. It would not have occurred to me to get a dog that would grow to be so large. We helped a friend of mine get him, by providing transportation to the breeder. The next day my friend's landlady changed her mind about letting him have a dog. He was heartbroken. But we had already fallen in love with the puppy, so we adopted him. There are few things in life more adorable than eight-week-old Goldens--irresistible. We had met his parents--Luc and Sage. Luc and Sage were the only dogs this breeder had--they were ranchers, hobby breeders. Luc and Sage were madly in love and inseparable according to the breeder. They were really nice dogs, and very loving and attentive parents.
