I think I should let a libertarian respond to this post. Tom Clarke, where are you when things get interesting?

I thought human refuse might already be a component of pig feed, so I am relieved to find out it is just an idea at this time.

The real test for a libertarian is whether a world of hired police and pure profit motive is one into which most people would insert their children.

That might be a test of an anarcho-capitalist but not for a minarchist, or for most libertarians. Minimal government doesn't mean anarchy. Certainly laws against murder are not in any way anti-libertarian. Even the anarcho-capitalist, would want murder punished he would just envision a non-goverment way to do deal with it, and I don't think most libertarians are anarcho-capitalist. In fact you might define them out of the set of "libertarian" and in to the set of "anarchist".
