So the assumption is that the main stream media is ignoring all these important stories. Which they sometimes do. Mainly because they can't get verification. So when Fox, on the stopped clock principle if nothing else, actually is vindicated, they look like they are really on top of things. For me, the Boy Who Cried Wolf is my model for Fox..

It is all of these things, but in my view it is more than the so called "news" they report...there are hours daily dedicated to conservative slant commentary. It starts in the morning with "fox and friends" and ends at night with o'reilly and hannity and colmes, the latter of which is a very weak liberal counterpoint. The guest list is overwhelmingly conservative. On weekends it's more of the same. There is really very little time dedicated to actual "news".

That's no excuse. If you're gut tells you its true, then you need to go for it. A scoop is a scoop. That's why Geraldo told the location of the unit to which he was embedded. He thought it was important that his Fox viewers knew where he was at all times.

Interestingly enough, Dan Rather ended up pulling a Fox stunt and got fired for it.
