We wander through the woods and ponder the great truths. Quite honestly, it does more to align me with any Great Power than 5000 years of fire and brimstone sermons would ever do. We can't be threatened into doing the right thing - that's called coercion and is not a manifestation of free will. Disciple is based upon the word discipline. One has to develop a structured way of thinking and critique their alignment to their principles. Most people aren't that spiritual and want a shrink-wrap religion that requires no more thought and introspection than a visit to the Burger King drive-through.
