I started thinking about the role of junk food in a person's diet when you made that comment. Making fatty food too accessible really will flip certain biological switches that, while relevant in times of famine, become downright detrimental in a society of plenty. I eschew passivity, but passivity (as in contemplation) has its place. Moderation is key and perhaps dealing with the availability of certain things, behaviors and substances teaches us discipline.
