You do realize who you just got compared to don't you? Huuuuboy ... and to think I knew you (sort of) while you walked. Is there a monument or something off Highway 74?

ish, it's almost every molecule we're pumping into the air, is it not? I do of course know the CFL's are the main offenders--hair spray to me is a deadly act of terrorism at this point--but CFL's are not the only alien valance invaders hitting the ozone. And if they are the only ones making it up that high, they are sufficient to rip the ozone layer apart one inch at a time, and ratherly quickly it seems.

I think many more pollution molecules than just the usual suspects we hear about are rising because the air in which they are trapped is leaking out.

That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it until anyone tells me the garbage/pollution/byproducts in our breathable atmosphere reaches all of these new huge holes in the ozone and put on the brakes and refuse to go farther.

"They" just hover there, under the ozone holes, ignoring the vacuum of space, exerting enormous magnetism of its own on the other side.

If that is what I am actually being told to accept, believe, or postulate as an explanation that there is really nothing to worry about, i don't think I'm quite that stupid.

Do you have explanations to help me understand...

If anyone is tired of this, I certainly can start a thread on ozone. I can discuss it ad nausium.
