I've known people to have Chows without problem, but I've also heard they can be ill tempered.

I had a bad experience with a chow too. What bugged me is he didn't growl or give any warning before going after me.

Martha Stewart has a whole passel of chows, doesn't she? Some people think they are just the very best breed. I have never been interested in them--they look uncomfortable with all that fur, which would probably end up all over the house. They look like they need daily brushings.
