From what I can see, Lieberman tries to placate or swing with the Republicans whenever he can get away with it. Clinton? She's so involved with being rich, powerful and beating Condie for the first woman prez (Condie the incompetent? Clinton who never held an executive office and has been a senator for one term? What's up with this?) that she's lost her mind entirely and doesn't care. It's the politics of personal ambition. Representing the people? Pshaw, that's for patsies.
