well, in all intellectual honesty, do you really believe a transparent layer of 3 oxygen molecules (that's my understanding from a quick research of ozone one day at the library when I had time) all stuck together, what I believe is about 60 miles up (correct me at all times please since I can only contain so much data within one brain at any time) is actually sticking there by MAGNETISM to the EARTH'S SURFACE, 60 miles away? When the vacuum of space is actually probably 1000 times more powerful? Sucking people inside out in an instant which is why they wear space suits? think about it. How much magnetism would the earth have to exert to combat the greater pull of the vacuum of the enormous space outside the ozone layer? I would kind of think enough to flatten me to ooze on the ground? Come on. Now, since you have asked me my theory of ozone do not be angry or scream OT at the answer: I have to assume it was divinely placed there to sustain human and animal and plant life. Apparently it was not placed anywhere else within the trillion miles of Hubbel's (Hubble's--who cares) capacity. Remember, it is HUBBEL-type astronomers/persons of knowledge who assure us the Universe is expanding, Hubbel people have discovered the Black Hole, know everything about the Black Hole in a few years it seems; they know all, see all, and report to us fantasies beyond my capacity to believe year after year. They however find no presence of ET's or life anywhere else. Within the trillion miles they tell us they can scope out, digest, understand and explain back to us. (The Christian scientists, however, have other views which are rarely allowed to filter to the unwashed masses, who are instructed and programmed by mostly aethiests like Sagan, etc. (Asimov was on the cusp of A Believer, however. And dear Enstein was almost a Jew for Jesus, in my mind. Clearly he will greet us in Heaven, should we somehow manage to make it there ourselves.) I find much of the study of the Universe given back to me on these shows and in books is almost laughable, but then that is purely me, and my mind patterns reacting to ludicrous speculations based on magnified camera technology. As for the ozone, I would be foolish to pretend to describe how it FORMED ITSELF in the first place--the most unexplainable, strangely designed enigma in the known universe from my standpoint--but it taxes my imagination to believe this transparent layer/bubble formed at the far reach of our atmosphere and is LOCKED IN TIGHT by magnetism from the GRAVITY PULL of the EARTH's SURFACE! From layman's knowledge, having no caluculus or physics in my background whatsoever, all I really know is that the magnetism exerted by the vacuum of space is exactly that of my vacuum cleaner picking up a hairball. It is a mathematical formula of Pi that is beyond my capability to formulate. Or even imagine how to form thoughts for such calculations. When the vacuum of space should have logically sucked the ozone layer away before it even somehow miraculously decided to form itself, given that all evolution of every kind is explained by some sort of logical decision of certain molecules to simply form themselves into various living and none living molecular units by "selection" and "survival" stimulations. Magnetized to the Earth's surface is a theory that is laughable to me. But do you have proof of this? I seek to know and understand. All I do is theorize and try to make answers for that which apparently has no answer at all. Obviously, the ozone layer intrigues me. And I need it to continue living for much longer...
