Her actual comments were a bit too blunt and crass for me to quote verbatim on this forum.

So were mine to my FEMALE, HARVARD trained physician who blew me off..would not even do an Infectious Disease consult when my symptoms ensued and escalated..took my HARVARD trained phychiatrist calling her up and telling her to do a thorough work up..HepC diagnosed within one week..dough?..you don't put that on the list for a health care professional who spent the 70's in training???..she even 'reported' me to the HMO because I did my own blood work/up because her requests were wholly inadequate..covering her butt but these very blood samples for a doc who looked for 'soft signs' and not just those blaring out and knocking you in the eye ball..they'd have told her something..sed rate upper limits of normal, LFT's upper limits of normal(woman in her 30's!)lymphocytes in the diff chronically elevated, on and on...

I told her in a very modulated 'harvard etiquette tone' "Good doctors are a dime a dozen in this town, and I happened to choose the one that WAS NOT. You're fired"
