re: JF, good article, bad title. The AMT is a stealthy tax increase, for sure, but calling it "Mr. Bush's" is somewhat inaccurate, since the AMT has been around for decades.

Bush has "reformed" taxes, with his tax cuts. He owns it... I know there is a temptation to only credit him with what you like, but you also have to blame him for what you don't like.
