It very much gave the impression that most people were behind Hezbollah whether it was a lie or not. The crowds were large (500K? Not too sure about that). But what is important is that while those who support Hezbollah turned out in droves, those who DON'T far outnumber those who DO. It isn't even close. And you know this because? It is also significant that Hezbollah would turn to this kind of demonstration as opposed to a terrorism-based statement. What you all do not want to look at is that Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad etc. do a lot of good for their people. That's why they are so popular. You keep ignoring the fact that they are more than just terrorists. Using terrorism as a tactic is a least common denominator. If you use terrorism, you are a terrorist and can never be more than that, no matter what. If you are supporting terrorism, the only acceptable outcomes are change or your destruction. If Hezbollah wants to change, fine -- I don't see it happening though. Well, you know......you can sawed this ca ca anyway you want. But to the person who gets food and medical care from Hezbollah, he/she may not share your views. And if your goal is to win the hearts and mind of the man in the ME street and truly give democracy a chance, you'd better understand the guy's position re. Hezbollah or Hamas. Having said that, you and Bush won't......its why you all have failed to date in the ME and why you will fail in the future. I wouldn't mind if it weren't for the fact that its hurting his country and the blue states are picking up most of the tab for this mess.
