"Have you looked at the cost of wind turbines and what they generate?" Yes. Wind power is consistently rated as producing the cheapest electricity of all major power technologies in wide use. (Don't forget: cost of wind turbines is pretty nominal when put up against the cost of nuclear plants, solar electric, construction of hydro dams, coal mining & oil finding + power plants, etc.) "I have, if not for the huge tax benefits, they make no sense right now from a cost basis." As I've said: ALL power technologies are SUBSIDIZED. If you've got a link to any analysis of comparative power production costs that strip out ALL subsidies --- I've be very glad to see it and review it.
