Wow. This is an example of what can happen when there is good news in a biotech.

Thanks, that is a very good idea... consistent with the mantra: "I never took a profit I didn't love!"

Probably DNA will gap up tomorrow, overnight retail buy orders will get filled at excessively high prices, then the MMs and professionals will take up short positions and walk down the ask, causing DNA to drop 5% or more fairly rapidly.

139.142.147.22

My plan is to sell half the position within the first 5 minutes, then place a tight stop just under the low of the session, in the outside chance that there is further upward momentum (this will be more likely if DNA does NOT gap up markedly). If this happens, I will adjust the stop to no further than 5% away from the inside bid as the stock moves up on the day. If not, I get stopped out near the highs on the rest of the position, then regroup and prepare to re-enter when there is a surge of supportive volume as they bring the stock down.

But I agree, it is very likely that there will be considerable profit taking that will erase half of the big gains.

Look at DNA> Haven't been following it but why did it gap up again?
