re: Kerik's royalties on the book have so far totaled $75,954.52, sources told The News.

The deal came about when Kerik was engaged in a torrid year-long affair with the book's publisher, Judith Regan, as The News revealed in December.

In this case sex was very healthy, for Kerik's bank account.

Re: Isn't this the same dude Bush appointed to some position and then he backed out do to marital problems or something negative?

Kerik was appointed by Bush to the the Secretary for Homeland Security, replacing Tom Ridge, who just landed a really lucrative position on the board at Home Depot, a supplier who made a lot of money on duct tape and plastic sheeting when Ridge went off the deep end with his fear mongering:

Kerik's big money came from his holdings in Taser stock, which he managed to dump for huge profits before the stock tanked due to excessive victim deaths at the hands of fascist stun gun operators.
