Apparently considering the legislation done, others have a similar sentiment as well.

So, what would you want done? Would you want to change the overall law regarding the treatment of hopeless patients? If so, how?

Or would you want judges to ignore the law if they are fathers of daughters? Let's say that someone's daughter murdered her husband and the judge had a daughter, should he let her off out of empathy for her father?

Or would you want all judges to ignore any law whenever their sentiments told them to?

Or would you want some alternate person or body to decide on a case to case basis when the law could be ignored? Or maybe rather than certain cases it's certain laws you want ignored?

Or maybe there's no principle at issue and you just want to make an exception in this particular case because it has captured the public's interest?

What is it that you want vis a vis the law?
