I've been following Loral's BK since late '04. Jeff Swarts, one of the shareholders (with Tony Christ) who was instrumental in winning equity committee (after being denied three times!) was posting actively on the Yahoo!Finance "LOR" board. Now CPA Bill Bubbers is pushing the cause for equity holders by supporting the official equity committee (composed of 5 preferred and 4 common reps - I'm not certain these are the correct numbers, but I know the preferred is the majority by 1 member). See my previous posting.

The goal now is to try to convene a special meeting of shareholders and have > 50% of common represented. So far only 20% is represented. The Orion bondholders (MHR Fund) want to steal the company. Cannot let that happen.
