Are those really good stocks or just popular stocks?

AAPL iPod might just be the PalmPilot of the 2000's.

They are all stocks that were forecasting 1% revenue growth next year in 2001/2, but are forecasting revenue growth of 25%-35% today. That's all I mean, finding the cheap dogs of today that will be the 20%+ growers at some point in the next 2-3 years is how to get the home run returns. I don't know if any of those stocks TODAY are still good investments, as you mention it depends on how long they can sustain their current growth trend.

VCLK would be my top pick of the three as internet advertising appears to have healthy fundamental trends for the next decade perhaps....

Guaranteed. You can't build a lasting company on one product. But I guess Apple has been a repeat performer in the homerun department. Their star waxes and then wanes and then repeats.
