No sweat, it happens all the time. It's one of those "..mind's eye.." tricks that your brain pulls on you.

Your "..noodle.." is always "..filling in the blanks.." because of the small area of "..no data.." where the optic nerve connects to the back of the eyeball. Hence, people just 'want' to see an "i" between the j and the m - so they invent one...!!! Ha ha ha ha...........

There was a real interesting program on the Discovery Channel about this phenomenon. We would all have little empty spots in our vision, if the brain didn't logically fill in that blank for us.
