The pro-lifers have turned the whole thing into a circus. Here's Michael Schiavo's version of the events: sweetliberty.org The judge who heard the case has been a lawyer for four decades, four times a county commissioner, and is universally liked and respected. He does nothing but handle probate and guardianship cases, and has been doing it a long time. To suggest he has some ulterior motive or was taken in by a conman is ludicrous. This afternoon I mentioned to a co-worker that there are 10,000 websites comparing him to Adolf Hitler, she couldn't believe it. It is all pro-life extremists behind this sham. They do not feel that we should have the right to refuse medical treatment.
