Yes, that is a problem, especially here in Fla. where most of our water comes from artesian wells. You may have heard of a sink hole now and again, thats cause there are too many people in Fla. anymore and pumping the artesian low causing the land to sink. We also have a problem a long the coast of salt water intruding into our well system for the same reason. I dont know the solution but I THINK they are now treating the water too drinkable status then pumping it back into the ground to refill the aquifers, but I am not sure of that, I know its been discussed in the past. jdn
