Re: If treating innocents harshly If you think people who are willing to bomb innocent people, or fly planes into buildings are deserving of the same treatment as a bank robber, well then, let's just say that you and I disagree on a huge scale. I am a fan of the work Amnesty does for political prisoners. The people (for lack of a better word) being held at Guantanamo are NOT political prisoners. Do you remember Beslan? How about Madrid one year ago? Does 9/11 ring a bell? These people (for lack of a better word) will not play nice if you do. Do you think it is just a coinicidence we have not been attacked again? George Bush is doing his job and should be given credit for leading this struggle. Instead, your side derides him every chance you get. Until dems come to terms with this new world order, they will remain the power on the sidelines. BTW, have you noticed that Hilary is not very critical of GWB regarding terrorism lately? She understands that anti-Americanism will NOT sell with most of America if she is to have any chance in '08. When will the rest of the party also realize this?
