He can do it if he follows thru, but I think he dropped out of school just short of a degree in physics. Now, after 5 years, he's gone back in math. If it is not just because he has a new lady love, he might actually finish the program. That's the hard part.
But, his reasoning certainly is sound. He says mathematicians don't really know physics, and physics guys don't really know math. Know, at the gut level. So, nobody has been able to develop this formula. He thinks he can.
To tell yo the truth, I don't know if he understands this stuff, cuz he gets so far over my head that I sit & listen open mouthed. Sometimes, I can even ask a question. But, he could be making it all up on the spot; that's how much over my head he is. Black holes to other universes, a constant rebound of the universe thru a black hole so everything gets exactly repeated on a cycle of 30 or 40 billion years.

Duh.
