Frankly, I don't see the issue with Oswald getting off the shots in the time he had, using a bolt action rifle and having a little training/practice at it. And even if you doubt he had enough time, how would rigging up some contraption with a slingshot and mirror help at all? As I understand it, the aspect some doubt is whether he had time to shoot accurately, not whether one could simply pull the trigger three times and work the bolt twice (not in that order, obviously), in the alloted time. Five seconds seems a fairly long time to me. BWDIK?
