Smoking just does not go with running.

I was thinking the same thing. Though I heard that Bush injured his knee and had to replace running with biking, and he is now an avid biker, difficult to keep up with. If someone is really a heavy smoker, it shows, even when they're not smoking. The yellowing teeth, the faint odor of cigarettes, etc. Plus they have to have a drag every now and then. Mark Steyn wrote a hysterically funny column about a dinner he attended with Princess Margaret as guest of honor, a true addict to the weed.
