re: It is broke. That you are in denial about it has nothing to do with it. You simply have no significant knowledge of the subject, and you've shown it time and again.

You are the one that doesn't comprehend, or are intentionally deceptive. even Bush has cut back the crap rhetoric.

re: I do not comprehend why the Left is so willing to turn a blind eye to what is obviously one of the greatest looming problems for our nation.

Nobody is turning a blind eye, as stated many times on this thread. You continue to argue with yourself, as you have with the 13 year old sex thing. Don't try to invent the opposition, it makes you look silly.

You want to break the system with your private accounts scheme. Others here want to fix SS with some measured adjustments. For you it's wild eyed ideological, for us it's pragmatic.

re: For you to argue "it's not broke" is just like Combjelly and Tigerpaw arguing that the forged documents weren't forged.

That's the worst analogy I've heard in a LONG time.

John

>If the unfunded liability were booked, AS IT SHOULD BE, the fund would be trillions in deficit right now. And it only gets worse.

You have to book the income too, DR....

It is broke. That you are in denial about it has nothing to do with it. You simply have no significant knowledge of the subject, and you've shown it time and again.

What's broke is the GOP. Once again they are overstepping their bounds.......trying to restrict freedoms and grow the pork. Immersed in its own corruption, the GOP will fall like a fatted pig.

"is just like Combjelly and Tigerpaw arguing that the forged documents weren't forged."

There you go again...

I, for one, never argued that. What I did argue was the "proof", wasn't. What I did claim is that the "proof" that you and the others were trotting out was bogus. The first, that typewriters of that era were unable to do proportional space was the first of many nitwit and wrong pieces of so-called "proof". Then it was "ok, so there were typewriters like that, but the Air national Guard never had any". Then when documents from that time period surfaced that were type in a proportional font at the TANG, then y'all started plucking more BS out of the air. And the last issue about the kerned "th" pair...

As I stated before, some of the internal evidence doesn't match up, that could indicate that that the documents were forged. But nothing was ever proven, one way or another.
