Is the earth getting warmer? Yes. In fact, so is Mars, Pluto and Neptune's moon.

Is man responsible for much of the warming seen on earth? Possibly. An article in this months Scientific American argues that for the past 8000 years, man has been affecting the Earth's temperature (through agriculture: rice cultivation and clear cut farming) - and is the main reason that we have not entered into an Ice Age yet.
