Ted, A constitutional democracy doesn't have a lot of room for personal biases. Except when those personal biases are yours, and you happen to find judges that share your personal biases. The bottom line is that most Californians voted for a proposition that prohibited gay marriage. I think most of them don't think "equal protection" applies to gay marriage, but the judge just told the majority to go pound sand. That's not a democracy, that's an oligarchy. Tenchusatsu
