Do you know the size of the Caribou herd has quadrupled since the Alaska pipeline was built? Seems the Caribou like the heat off the pipeline...allowing them a more pleasurable experience.

As long as they are over 13 years old, I have no problem with that....

If we start to extract from oil shale as well, the price of Middle East crude will probably mysteriously drop.

Yeah, right.......the first oil out of ANWR won't be for 5-10 years. And do you know how much shale it takes to make a barrel of crude?

Trust me, the price of crude ain't dropping any time soon.
