I was watching Charlie Rose interview Ramsey Clark last night and one of the salient statements from Clark:

I traveled to 110 countries. I have never witnessed the disdain that the rest of the world holds us in. Whereas once we were liked and revered as Americans now the world is hostile toward us.

The other statement. The U.S. is the least democratic nation in the world. How can we expect to import Democracy...
We spent 90 billion dollars on the elections in Iraq. And we put up our candidates...

He said he was very sad about the mess we are in.
