Union Thugs? Ha! You're thinking of Jimmy Hoffa era Teamsters Union. There's a lot of legit. Unions out there that do good for their members. It's ignoramuses like you who sympathise with Corporate Greed that hold a strong bias against anything that protects the interests of average workers. The true thugs are the likes of GWB, Ken Lay, Bernard Ebbers, Dennis Kozlowski etc., etc.. who raid the coffers, cash in their stock options while pumping the stock and deliberately misrepresenting the company finaces while dragging the company into the ground. Walmart is run by a bunch of moral midgets who could care less about the welfare of their workforce. The only reason they pay above minimum wage is because that's the minimum rate they can pay to attract a sufficient workforce and avoid excess worker turnaround. Walmart destroys lives by putting small business out of business by undercutting them with their ability to have deep discounts. Their stores are a blight on the face of the earth.
