my back wasn't even turned, walking parallel to the water, looking for shells

it just roared up and snatched me

dragged me under

there were life guards, the ran towards me, but I was taken out too fast

for a good swimmer I did struggle to get back

it was a great vacation though

I was trying to take a picture of my friend on the beach with a camera I wasn't familiar with - I would click the button, but I couldn't see what I was snapping, it never popped open

a man came over and turned the camera around

viola, it worked

he also said he would love a few of the pre-turned camera pictures I took

"Never turn your back on the ocean."

What if it's all around you, as far as the eye can see, and your dive boat is gone?

Rented "Open Water" last weekend. Disturbing film.
