I see your points. I guess my personal preference though is to have surplus, surplus, surplus. Deficits bug me.

I do think the SS and medicare issue isn't being properly addressed. There needs to be some type of a "do exercise to get this benefit" incentive program.

So you think the current taxation and spending policies have not lead to a systemic debt problem? Worst, a debt the government owes those very entitlements that bug you....and then you lecture Amy that surpluses equal "the goverment collecting more taxes than it needs" Dorothy left you with the apple trees on the way to OZ, did she? LOL
