Mainstream Americans and experienced responsible professionals expressed deep concern over the war -- and the concern was most often in terms of the potential for a quagmire to develop. You search high and low for somebody on the fringe, then call it "the Left", and then act dismissively by misrepresenting the valid concerns that were ignored by Rumsfeld, Cheney and Bush. They got it wrong -- the got the diplomacy wrong and they got the war wrong.

You may remind us of any bogus made up scenario you want. You're good at that. Why, exactly, you are allegedly the authoritative voice of what "the UN" or "the left" was predicting is one of these mysteries of the universe. I guess you just got to believe.
