Most good southerner Christians voted to maintain slavery. They said the bible supported their position.......and they referenced specific verses. That didn't may slavery constitutional. Sometimes, the courts are ahead of the people.......it happens. You making this up as you go ted or something you read somewhere? If you dispute what I said, its real simple.........show me the link supporting your position. Don't let the cat get your tongue. You do realize the Emancipation Proclamation only freed the slaves in the south and not the north? How noble of you yankees... Yeah, that's cause they were already free.
