There's a research study that shows the number of heart attack patients that appear in the hospital by Wall Street when there's a bad down week in the stock market. There's a correlation.

One thing Bush (or Congress) doesn't do, is count such intangible impact of deficits.

I like how Buffett is getting after Bush/Congress on deficits:

At some point, it's going to become a CEO's job to put pressure on the govt to reign the deficit, because deficits have the potential to impact moral, thus GDP.

You asked what was I buying recently. I just bought some AGEN at $7.13. I might stop out if it crashes and try again as I've already done... or just hold and see what happens. A friend posted a very good article on why I should hold it for a long term investment here suite101.com

I like the idea of being a value stock as well as in an explosive growth market... if it hits on this drug.

Any thoughts?
