Rrufff, I wasn't trying to defend naked shorting, I was kicking myself for not being able to profit from such apparently easy money. I mean, given the fact one would be hard-pressed to find an SEC action against pure naked shorters (as opposed to those who go through the hassle of toxic convertibles where you actually have to reveal yourself to the company, in contrast to being offshore and invisible according to what I've been reading on these anti naked shorting sites), isn't the risk worth it? Any help on how I might get started selling shares I never had to deliver would be appreciated. TIA.
