The Dems really need to get their act together. But they can't "sell their brand" by trying to be the same as the Republicans. They have to differentiate and then promote one message. Liberals are not good at that; progressives almost by definition continually second guess each other. They evolve their positions rather than rely on dogma.

That's right..............good insight. I never saw it that way. In fact, its an annoying habit that I do in my life...always second guessing. That may well be the crux of the problem with the Dems.

While the GOP doesn't care what they say so long as they have agreement, the Dems. are working hard to try and get it 'right'.

In any case, the Dems can't get off a dime while the Rove machine acts like the noxious Kudzu vine..........sending its roots into every available crevace and corner of the country. Its very frustrating.
