No, you didn't read the report? That's how he escaped in the first place. he went into a change room with a 5'1" 51 year old grandmother who took his shackles off so he could change to street clothes. After all, it might look like he was guilty if he walked in with shackles and an orange jump suit, it's not PC. Remember this woman is in this room by herself with this 6'something ex college linebacker... He jumped the woman and grabbed her gun, shot her and ran into the court room and shot the judge and court reporter. Now remember Atlanta in all their wisdom makes even cops remove their guns at the door to the court house. No one was monitoring the cameras, and the rapist ran down the back stairs and out the door...They thought he'd stolen a car, but found it the next day still parked where it had been the day before...He jumped on a MARTA train to Lennox Mall..a very busy place.. Aw the smell of stupidity in Atlanta in the morning.
